On 7 July, 2020, The YA Studies Association (YASA) announced its first Executive Board, consisting of President Dr. Leah Phillips, Vice-President Emily Corbett, Secretary-Treasurer Jennifer Gouck, Membership Manager Dr. Rebekah Fitzsimmons, and Social Media Coordinator Emily Booth. In this post celebrating their first anniversary, the Executive Board looks back on the last year–and forwards, at their future goals for YASA.

‘YA Studies Around The World’ in Numbers
It’s been three months since YASA’s inaugural conference. Having shared our personal reflections on #YASA2020, we also wanted to share the behind-the-scenes data for the conference. The scale of YA Studies Around the World revealed in this data truly shows the diversity and passion in YA Studies. The conference is not just an achievement for YASA, but a significant contribution to scholarship that proves that our field is thriving.
